Since 1988, Norpak Handling has grown from a small “start up” business to one of the leading providers of conveyor and material handling solutions in Canada. Today, in addition to our Port Hope Ontario Head Office and shop/warehouse facility, we have a branch location in British Columbia as well as distributor partner locations in Ontario, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Quebec, and Alberta. As with any success story, ours is a long one that has seen many great developments over the decades contribute to our growth and identity.

As experienced pioneers of the conveyor industry, founder Stewart Raynor and partners Gamey Lycett and Gavin Linn had seen the need for holistic, custom solutions to material handling problems.

As businesses developed and diversified, many grew to have unique needs that could never have been met by one-size-fits-all solutions. Norpak Handling was started to answer these needs, so that businesses located across Canada could obtain workable solutions created specifically for their unique business challenges.

In 1997, the Port Hope facility was constructed, and to this date remains the Head office location for Norpak. The Port Hope community and industrial sector reflects the values that Norpak holds dearly: entrepreneurial, hard-working, and joyful in service. Indeed, we take great pride in being able to service the needs of Canada’s thriving industries, whether by providing conveyor systems, replacement parts, maintenance, or even project management services – we do our best to become experts in everything related to conveyor solutions so that our customers can benefit from having a one-stop solution center for all their needs.

Since establishing the Port Hope office, it has been our desire to keep giving back to the community, as we believe that businesses must take a leading role in uplifting and empowering members of society. The charities that we are involved in cover different areas of community life, from soup kitchens to youth orchestras and youth sports teams.
